Scarecrow Project
This project was supposed to test our creativity and ability to make sculptures. The object was to come up with a interesting design and build it using recycled materials. We started by making sketches by ourselves.
These are my four preliminary designs: Bulb-Crow, Time-Crow, Sun-Crow, and Dancing-Crow.
The next thing we did was get together with a partner and come up with a final design we were going to use. I partnered up with Emily. We chose a design that was supposed to look like the singer Lady GaGa.
This is the design Emily and I came up with.
We had about a week to work on the actual sculpture, but Emily and I had a very difficult time creating our design that we started out with. After one of the last days to work on it, we decided to completely restart at my house. We quickly threw something together that actually worked.
This is GaGa-Crow in Central Gardens. Our materials were chicken wire, tin foil, a soccer ball, acrylic paint, milk jugs, hot glue, and tape.
Here is another angle of GaGa-Crow in Central Gardens.
